Meet the Director

Alexis Garrison is the Club Director of Amazon Volleyball Club and currently serves as the Head Volleyball Coach at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech), entering her fourth season leading the program.

Since being named head coach in Spring 2023, Garrison has led the Lady Owls to continued success at the collegiate level, including a return to the NAIA National Tournament in 2024 with an at-large bid. During that season, Oregon Tech finished 19-14 and achieved a school-record 7-1 start, while also advancing to the final site of the Cascade Conference Championships. Under her leadership, the program has produced multiple All-Conference athletes, including the 2024 Cascade Conference Freshman of the Year, along with numerous Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete selections.

Prior to Oregon Tech, Garrison served as the head coach at The Evergreen State College, where she led the program to a Cascade Conference Championship appearance for the second time in school history and coached multiple All-Conference honorees, including a conference Setter of the Year and an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Her teams were also recognized for excellence off the court, earning back-to-back Cascade Conference Sportsmanship Awards.

In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Garrison has an extensive background in club volleyball, including coaching at South Sound Volleyball Club, where she led the U18 National team to a national bid.

A former collegiate player at Evergreen State College and Walla Walla Community College, Garrison brings both playing and coaching experience to her leadership role. She holds a Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletics Administration from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from The Evergreen State College.

Through Amazon Volleyball Club, Garrison is committed to developing athletes who are confident, disciplined, and prepared to compete at the next level, while fostering a positive and high-performance training environment.
